OSSC LTR Teacher Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

OSSC LTR Teacher Qualification

• TGT Arts: Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Commerce or Shastri (Sanskrit) with two school subjects, 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC), and B.Ed./3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.

• TGT Odia: Bachelor’s degree in Arts with Odia (min. 200 marks) and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC) + B.Ed./3-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. or 4-year B.A. B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution. Special B.Ed. not allowed.

• TGT Science (PCM): Bachelor’s degree in Science/B.Tech/B.E with two school subjects, 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC), and B.Ed./3-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.

• TGT Science & ( CBZ ) : Four – year Integrated B.Sc. B. Ed. from any NCTE recognized Institution with two school subjects ( schools subjects as defined in the proviso here under ) having 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% SC/ST/PWD/SEBC, Candidates )

• Teacher Telugu: Bachelor’s degree in Arts with Telugu, 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC), and B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.

• Classical Teacher (Sanskrit): Bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit (50% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC).

• PET: +2 or equivalent with C.P.Ed./D.P.Ed./B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed.

• Hindi Teacher: Bachelor’s degree with Hindi (50% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC).

• Urdu Teacher: Alim/Fazil with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC) and B.Ed./Urdu B.Ed.

OSSC LTR Teacher Age Limit

As per recruitment notifications candidates’ Age limit (As on 01.01.2024) For OSSC LTR Teacher Recruitment 2025.

• Minimum Age Limit – 21 years
• Maximum Age Limit – 38 years

(All other castes will be given age relaxation as per government rule)
