ICAR IARI SRF & Skilled Helper Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Skilled Helper:- Candidates must have complete 12th pass from recognize board any discipline (Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Science/ Arts/ Commerce)
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF):- Candidates must have complete Master Degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences subject with 4years/ 5years of Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications (As per ICAR Office Notification)

Age Limit for ICAR IARI

As per recruitment notifications candidates’ Age limit (As on 01.03.2025)

• Minimum Age Limit – 18 years 
• Maximum Age Limit – 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• OBC Candidates – 5 years
• ST/SC/Women Candidates- 5 years
• Ex-Serviceman – 5 years
• PWD+SC/ST Candidates- 10 years

ICAR IARI SRF & Skilled Helper Salary Details

• Skilled Helper : Rs. 21,917/- Per Month
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF) : Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA per month
