• Junior Stenographer : 24 posts (8 for women) (EIC, Water Resources, Bhubaneswar)
• Junior Stenographer: 40 posts (13 for women) (Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack)
• Junior Stenographer : 3 posts (2 for women) (Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection)
• Junior Grade Typist: 5 posts (1 for women) (Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Services)
• Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant : 2 posts (none for women) (Law Department, Odisha)

OSSC New CRE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Junior Stenographer (EIC, Water Resources, Bhubaneswar): HSC or equivalent with ITI in Stenography and Basic Computer Skills.
• Junior Stenographer (Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack): Bachelor’s Degree with 80 wpm shorthand speed in English and Odia, plus computer proficiency.
• Junior Stenographer (Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection): +2 Arts/Science/Commerce with 80 wpm shorthand speed in English and Odia, and computer skills.
• Junior Grade Typist (Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Services): HSC or equivalent with Basic Computer Skills.
• Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant (Law Department, Odisha): +2 in any discipline with typing speed of 40 wpm in English and 20 wpm in Odia, along with basic computer knowledge.

Age Limit for OSSC CRE

As per recruitment notifications candidates’ Age limit (As on 01.03.2025)

• Minimum Age Limit – 18 years
• Maximum Age Limit – 38 years

OSSC Steno, Typist, Assistant Salary Details

• Junior Stenographer: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-7)
• Junior Grade Typist: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-4)
• Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-4)
