Eastern Railway and Central Railway has announced the 5000+ Apprentice jobs vacancies for various department under a Contractual basis. Check the official notification for detailed vacancy information.

• Eastern Railway – 3115 Post
• Central Railway – 2418 Post

Railway New Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates minimum Complete 10th pass OR ITI from a government-recognized institute.

Age Limit

As per recruitment notification, candidates’ Age limit (As on 01.08.2025)

• Minimum Age Limit – 15 years
• Maximum Age Limit – 24 years

Age Relaxation:

• OBC Candidates – 3 years
• ST/SC/PWD Candidates – 5 years
• Ex-Serviceman – 5 years
• PWD+SC/ST Candidates – 15 years

Railway New Vacancy Salary Details

When a candidates selected for the position in Central Railway, get a monthly salary Only (Rs. 7,000/-) with other Allowances. The salary will be provided as per Government norms mentioned in the official notification.

• Apprentice– Rs. 7,000/-Per Month

• General/EWS/OBC: Rs 100/-
• ST/SC/Women: No Fee
